Born and raised in Long Island, New York, award winning filmmaker, Daniel Robert Cohn, attended School of Visual Arts on scholarship. While there, he directed a music video for Europe MTV, was selected to be a member of The Actor's Studio in New York and by age 20 had directed a feature film which was distributed world-wide and aired nationally on UPN as a Movie of the Week. The film outperformed major studio films and ratings were 30% higher than the network average. Cohn relocated to Los Angeles, where he optioned a TV pilot to Penny Marshall, co-directed a short with Mark Wahlberg and directed several award winning music videos. He and his wife/creative partner, Linnea, have gone on to secure several writing deals with Universal Pictures, Constantine FIlms and Robert Cort Productions. The creative duo now have their sites set on producing and are in the process of securing financing. Cohn is currently set to direct a new feature film for Kickstart Entertainment. Born in Los Angeles and raised on a farm in Minnesota, Linnea Cohn spent her childhood dreaming and imagining all day long. Her fascination with dreams led her into the field of psychology and dream analysis. With an eager desire to learn, she began her master's degree at 19 years of age and finished her doctoral degree by the age of 25. Her education and intuitive skills served her well in the field of screenwriting. She was able to utilize her method of dream analysis for The Dream Factory -- a scipt that was written for Universal Pictures. From there she developed a particular style of dream analysis called psycho-reflective mapping that she utilizes in all of her other scripts and work. Linnea has also served as a literary agent and editor for numerous non-fiction books, which are currently in stores. She has also authored several children's books with her twin sister and is currently developing her own publishing company.
